Advancing Women's Heart Health Together

Alpha Phi International Fraternity is a community of empowered women supporting one another for a lifetime, with 175 chapters across the United States and Canada.

In 2016 Starting Hearts joined Alpha Phi in supporting their mission of women’s heart health. Starting Hearts provides CPR training to every chapter sister through a program called Call.Push.Shock.TM. This free class offers life-saving instruction and training, as well as a fundraising opportunity campus-wide.

To ensure continued teaching of this program, Starting Hearts offers Train-the-Trainer instruction and ongoing support to each Chapter’s leadership team. Having Call.Push.Shock.™ certified instructors in each chapter not only benefits the entire student body, but the campus’s community as well.

As much as possible, Starting Hearts also supports annual key events such as Go-Red Week and the ever-popular Red Dress event. Contact us to learn more about partnering with us and empowering generations to come in lifesaving skills, or even a career!

Alpha Phi cares about improving women’s heart health, and has supported education and research since 1946

"What we do together is so impactful. We’ve created a sustainable program that brings real meaning to Alpha Phi’s pillar of women’s heart health. We learn together, have so much fun together, raise money together, and make an amazing difference in saving precious lives.”
~Alan Himelfarb, Executive Director of Starting Hearts
